Allen’s ability to implement the Toyota Production Systems has a quick direct impact to the bottom line which has helped save companies millions of dollars. Implementing Lean Manufacturing he has lead teams to reduce inventory, material shortages, expedites and cycle time while increasing on-time delivery, inventory turns, and profits. This makes him a valuable resource. His main focus is in materials management, beginning with FG sequencing (Heijunka Level Scheduling) which level loads the plants and shipping. Then create pull systems for internal suppliers both batch building process and one for one process. Creation of conveyance routes for the delivery of material. Developing PFEP to store both FGs, WIP and purchase components. Sequencing supplier deliveries which level loads the suppliers, receiving dock, while tracking supplier delivery. He does this by setting up ERP systems that are in sync with visual systems that where anyone walking through the plant can see the status of each cell, machine, shipments and delivery of suppliers and that same info matches the ERP system. Allen also has experience with Crisis Management, ERP implementation, Visual Factory, 5-S, Kanban, Problem Solving, Continuous Improvement, 1-piece flow, Standardized Work, Job Instruction Training, Value Stream Mapping, Developing and Leading workgroups.
